Hello sir. Sir mera CBR 250R self Marne ke baad khadaak si awaaz karke Band ho jata hai. Thoda sa self start hota hai sirf 1 crank start hota hai. Khadaak si awaaz ane pe Band ho jata hai. Head khol ke check kiya . Sabb Theek thaak hai . Rocker arms , shims, and Cam shafts all OK. Kya yeah problem self starter clutch ki problem hai. Joh khadaak Tutne jaisi awaaz karta hai. Bike start nahi hone de raha. Please do reply. I am in big trouble. My bike is opened in my garage. Please do reply

I own a CBR250R. It is a shit bike. Every owner knows that it's engine head gets fucked up every few kms because it's cam chain tensioner is just pathetic. Pathetic tensioner leads to timing issue(teeth jump) in cam chain. This further bends the intake and exhaust valves and if this goes unnoticed, the entire engine gets fucked up. In 48k kms of my ownership, i've changed 6 tensioners. Engine head has been opened thrice. First damage was major repair and major major expense. Second time i had to get rockers, shims , clutch plates, clutch plate side bell and timing chain replaced. Third time i replaced tensioner cam chain and rockers. This is the fourth time i am facing same problem again which begins from rattling sound from the engine head. I am going to try manual cam chain tensioner now.

From other people's inputs, it seems like not everyone faces this issue. Until there's a knocking sound from the head of the engine, you're good to go with the stock (oem) hydraulic cam chain tensioner

Sir mujhe bhi mere cbr250r abs ka engine rebuilt Krna hai, without changing any parts. Bike sirf 30000 kms chali hai but fir bhi bahot saare vibrations aa rhe hai aur bahot rough feel ho rhi hai, engine se thoda tuktuk ka awaj bhi ata hai

Unless I see them in person or a photo, it's difficult to say. If bike has run over 80000 kms its better you replace the entire assembly
