It's wrong. Oil change must be carried out by checking viscosity. India is importing crude oil and producing by products like oil and government is providing subsidy on it. Changing oil only on the basis of duration is completely wrong. By changing oil only on duration basis means wasting good oil and creating pollution. If vehicle has completed specified km or viscosity is low then oil must be changed
