In this video I have explained all the possibilities of low engine oil level . At the same time I have given the solution for each problem. After watching this video you will be more confident and no mechanic or service center can make you fool.
First reason is wrong method to check the engine oil level. If your vehicle is running and you stop the vehicle and immediately check the level then it be not correct level. Let the engine oil sattle down for almost 39 minutes after switch off the engine then take the dip and check the engine oil . In this way you will find the actual level of oil.
Second reason may be wrong practice during cold start. When in the morning you start the engine - wait for some time to warm up the engine. Don't accelerate (jerk) the engine , leave it at idling rpm for few minutes and after that you can apply the load or start your work.
Third reason reason may be gasket damage at mating surfaces such as cylinder to crankcase mating. If gasket is damage then drop by drop leak will be there.
Forth reason may be damage piston rings. When your vehicle complete lacks of kilometres then over the time/use the piston rings gets damaged and oil enter to the combustion chamber through piston rings. In this case your vehicle emits black/blue smoke from exhaust. Piston rings can be changed by the mechanic.
