I wanted to make one but I don't have the right tool to do the job, so had to get it done by a mechanic who has the tool. Will try to source that tool to open the drain plug of the gear oil.

oil to change kar liya lekin atomobile wale ne muje 3.5 liter MGO maruti Suzuki brand se oil diya tha maine utna bhi daal diya hai ....lekin google pe search kiya to alto ke new se leke old tak 3 liter capacity bata rha hai ...... jyada oil hogya kya ? 500ml ...level bhi thodi uper gai he .kahi problem hoga kya engine ko ( my car alto vxi plus he )

The Oil filter box doesn't have any specs mentioned on it, just a plain and simple MGP oil filter.

Tappet cover / valve cover leaks are common. The machining of the engine is not of the highest quality.

I did not mention as it will differ in different cars and wanted to keep this as a reference guide for oil changes at home for every car owner. ALTO 800 required around 2.5-2.8 litres of oil. Always advisable to measure using the dipstick and keep adding oil till the right level is achieved.
