Do you think this would work with my moms 2005 dodge grand caravan that was broken into? It seems that the anti theft mode activated and it doesn't even crank

Hey Emanuel. That's so sad to hear. Does security light flash when key ON? What damage was done to the vehicle? Did you try another key?

@@PistonShack there wasn't really much damage done to the van but when we try to start the car it doesn't crank, but you can see the mileage, lights like the anti theft light flashing and you can hear the fuel pump priming, the alarm also goes off and the hazards flash. We only had one of the original keys and I bought one off Amazon but it's not programmed or anything just for unlocking the door incase of an emergency like it getting locked with the key inside

@@PistonShack the most damage done to it was some scratches on the paint around the drivers door and there was alot of money stolen as well. My mom had just gotten home from work and she was tired and forgot her purse in the car and then they broke into it and they've done it multiple times

This happened to me this morning. Once you replace the immobilizer do you have to get your key reprogrammed?

No, if your reprogram new immobilizer to your old specs you don't have to reprogram the keys. If you install new immobilizer with another code then you have to reprogram the keys and synchronize it with ECU.
