Loved the editing, but the printing ideas felt like a waste of filament - most items seem quite impractical for real life appliance and only good for single-use entertainment.

Hey..you’re using a dry wall screws to mount the 3D printed things. You’re also using a drywall setting bit (used to prevent the screw from being screwed too deeply into the drywall.

i think they have a tower in the corner of the plate that the printhead goes to every layer and simply take a photo of each layer of the main print when the printhead moves away to do the tower

Thanks a ton! Fantastic set of prints. I'm printing the Parametric Battery Box now because I have been looking for a fantastic solution to my plethora of batteries. Just downloaded the Gyroscup files because that is just super rad. Update: The Gyroscup is fucking amazing! It was a little tight at first, but a quick zip zip with a 1/4 drill bit and now everything is free floating. It works like a dream.

I thought it was bad to use 3D prints with anything food-related
@Lyrkan_ Жыл бұрын
Yeah, all those "look at my 3D prints" videos with food-related items are just plainly stupid... even if they are using PETG it doesn't mean it's food grade - I'm guessing most filaments are not. Even if they were you'd still have lots of other things to consider: the porosity of the print (which makes it impossible to clean properly or prone to molds/bacteries), the residues of other prints that were done on your printer with a different material, and so on...
