I have a copy of "The fundamentals of motor vehicle technology" in my loft, from my apprenticeship that i started in 1986. 3rd edition, i believe.

The two first Bell books were very good in their time and for the audience they were aimed at. Dunno about the forced induction one. The 2 stroke one is probably still fairly relevant today.

@@dirtygarageguy no point in that. You just whines like a girl calling people names, when they point out mistakes you make - such as talking about cpus, and not knowing anything about the subject, or how exposure works on cameras.. You just think you know everything - you really dont..

Really good video Matt, I had the Hillier's motor vehicle books 1-3 back at collage. Didn't think id be seeing them again. I think you should guitar cover a few songs for a special or the start of streams, just an idea.

So, why after all these years are engineers still trying to re-design car engines that fail. I get the goal of keeping costs down and introducing longer service intervals. There's also an element of neglect by the consumer which is not to be under estimated, but, so many simples failures smacks of the manufacturer not being accountable enough for their product.
@dirtygarageguyАй бұрын
You're forgetting competition.
@boba5984Ай бұрын
@@dirtygarageguy I was kind of intimating that with cheaper costs and longer service intervals as a selling point, but you are 100% correct. Maybe there are too many producers after the same market but sacrificing quality at the expense of the consumer ?
