Just backed this on Kickstarter. My coworkers always like the tops and fidget toys I have laying around. This should ass an additional conversation piece to the mix.

You know it would actually fail and how much it would cost? these things take like 6 hours each to properly EDM, And also an EDM wire machine could cost you a house.

@@light-gray I know how Expensive and complex EDM machining is. I would even say 150 dollar for something EDM machined is cheap. But it looks like its low quality when you look at the comments from the kickstarter.

I just don't understand why they don't allow pre-orders or just outright orders with an advisory that it could take 6 months or even more to receive. I keep checking the website every 3 months and I see other people are ordering yet I'm unable to order due to lack of availability🤦🏻‍♂️ going on 3 years pretty soon for this pattern.

It is cool, but I don't think this is 250 euros worth of cool. Way to pricey for just a small metal chunk. And though EDM is an expensive process, it's not that expensive compared to regular CNC machining. This toy may be worth about 80, 90 euros, in my opinion, but definitely not 250

The tolerances are extremely tight between the two components, meaning when you push down on a rod the air pressure created acts against the other rod, forcing it up.
