Hey man, still haven’t decided what I want to do at uni. Currently doing maths, physics and psychology at alevel. Maths is my favourite subject, but I don’t want to become a teacher, so I’m leaning towards engineering. Are there a lot of jobs for engineering degrees?
@dholmes2644 жыл бұрын
Apart from computer science, engineering is one of the most in demand careers at the moment so there’s lots of jobs with very good growth rates. If I were you’d I’d check out Shane hummus’ videos on engineering degrees, especially their tier list to learn about the different specialisms and their prospects.
@dholmes2644 жыл бұрын
Also, a very well paying career so if you’re good at maths and physics I’d go for it.

how is it even possible to study medicine n engineering at the same time, i could never
@DrSenKath6 жыл бұрын
@TheRenaissanceman65 Exactly!!! You need to have taken a few specific subjects at A-Level though, but otherwise, it's an opportunity for all!

Mate you must be a highly successful and intelligent person to studying medicine

i am an igcse student and i want to be a mechanical engineer, so can you please tell me which subjects do i need to choose .
@mohamedhisham91853 жыл бұрын
It doesn't matter what subjects you choose at this level. Just make sure you do well in your 'core' subjects : maths, English and the sciences and you'll be golden. Other than that, just pick whatever subjects you find interesting. At A-level tho you'll have to do atleast maths and physics to be accepted in most universities. Some will also require chemistry for some courses.

Was the female lecturer turkish lol, I could never miss the English accent spoken by Turks....engineering student from Turkey btw, goodluck bro
@DrSenKath5 жыл бұрын
Thanks man! I don't know whether she's turkish or not - she's a really good lecturer though
@metehergul47064 жыл бұрын
I immediately noticed the same thing, and looked up the IIA/3G1 part of the Tripos. If the lecturer was someone by the name of Dr. Dikicioglu, hers definitely is a Turkish surname.

Hi there. I have a few question which I hope you can answer me. Does CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY care about gcse results? Or just an outstanding A-level will do
@sajjansharma61476 жыл бұрын
I think it depends on your secondary schools average. But for competitive courses definitely, i.e medicine.
