In Astro Colony you create and move your flying city through space. During exploration you find and dock planets to enlarge your colony. This way you have access to resources and surface to build on. Another way to expand your ship is to use unique architecture - tiles, walls, floors and customizing them to your liking!
You will progress in development by unlocking technologies, automating extraction and creating production chains! In this journey you won't be alone, you will need to manage astronauts arriving to your colony, feeding and hosting them. All of that you can do with help of your friends, who can join you in the multiplayer mode!

This reminds me of the "Lone Survivor" map in Space Engineers where you start on a platform with basic power, oxygen, medical, refinery, and crafting stations and have to go around to asteroids to mine the resources you need to build ships/space stations.

that one or the original 'red ship crash' aka the one where you actually where at risk at first was my favorite starts... either slowly in borg style way expanding the plattform and turning it into a mobile spaces tation... or the glory of selectively cannibalizing the red ship to get basic functions up and start patch it up heh ^^

I like the speed up time feature, saves you from flying for 3 hours later on which also means the map can be extra massive...Or appear to be but it's actually just spawning and despawning things, who knows?
