Hey, u can use proportionality, Speed (proportional to ) frequency, so 1750 = 60 X= 50 Step1: (1750 x 50)/60 = X

Yeah, that's what I did too and it's way easier. Also, the rotor rpm (n_usa) = 1750 not the synchronous speed, so you can't just find poles as shown. The proportionality, however, cancels this effect but there's really no point in calculating the poles. Other than that, the video's helpful.

We also could have used the P formula ,no need to calculate the slip.
