I have a 4 byte program in ROM starting at address 0, hence I only need a0,a1 for my program, so I mistakenly thought I could just use A2 through an inverter for chip select (e.g. when 0 activates the rom), but then I realized that from your video, it won't work, since as the addresses are counting, higher order addresses will put A2 to zero again which will cause the 8085 to execute random code at those addresses. So thanks for the clear explanation. But I did think if my last command is HLT, it could prevent this, but maybe its better to use full address bus in general.
