why 2^7-2??

2^7 =128 . Here starting with 0.so 0-127 . 0 and 127 ip's are reserved . That's why 1-126 ip in class A .

Binary System: Computers operate on binary, a base-2 system. This makes powers of 2 (2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, etc.) naturally aligned with how data is processed and stored in computers .Efficiency: Using powers of 2 can lead to more efficient use of computer resources, such as memory allocation. It's easier for a computer to manage memory in chunks that are powers of 2

@sahayavalanj1660 More specifically, memory units are made of logic gates which are constructed using transistors and the transistors have 2 states-high and lo​w.So possible combinations would be in the power of 2 which is implied by multiplicative rule in probability
