There's no video like this on KZbin! CAE is an important skill that's often overlooked by students because universities only scratch the surface. I joined a research group to become an expert at simulation, which helped me get a handful of high-paying job offers.

Loved the emphasis on not just knowing how to use the software but understanding the math and physics behind simulations. It’s a crucial reminder that tools are only as good as our understanding of what they're doing. Similar to what I try to tell mechanical engineers in my videos.

What’s great about these softwares is that it does all of the Partial, Ordinary, and convoluting Differential Equations that you learned at university all in the software instead of doing the hand calculation and deriving the equations

Hey! Loving the videos so far and definitely hits the spot when it comes to Mechanical Engineering videos on KZbin. I graduated in late 2022 in Mechanical Engineering and recently graduated in a Masters in Robotics and was wondering if you could do a video on how we could study from the textbooks you have recommended and that we used when we are university in an efficient way so we one can brush up on their knowledge quickly. Any tips and tricks would be helpful as I always find myself going through a book front to back :')

Thanks,your videos are best on youtube for mechanical engineering and I love so much to watch them since I study ME. Could you please make video on theme building,constructing machine, I mean machine design beacuse that part of ME is the most interesting to me and I hope I will be working on it one day when finished with my uni

How much theory course needed to master for career in engineering simulation using Ansys. For example ansys mechanical or ansys fluent🤔 Should focusing on these software skill better or should I focus on the theory first

Great video! How can we learn CAE softwares like Ansys for free without having a job or internship that uses it and if I’ve already graduated? I don’t want to buy an expensive license just to learn some stuff
@billytam83082 ай бұрын
I am speaking from the perspective of soneone in the United States: One could check with their local community college if there is coursework in CAD or CAE that allows students to access educational or intitional software licenses remotely or install them to their own computers. Community colleges can offer incredible access to opportunities that the public otherwise cannot (easily) tinker with. Take for example, community colleges offer welding classes and the access to tools, supplies that are otherwise more regulated

Do you think Preprocessing are a take a part in future also? Because, cae comes up with some methods like meshfree or meshlesh methods to reduce the Preprocessing time consuming

Is It really worth learning cae as a mechnical engineer? I think most of the big company has cae team so that most of ME actually dont need to care about how simulation works

Would these softwares be beneficial for a layman who doesn't have formal mechanical engineering training? I only have calculus up to calculus 3, multivariable calculus. Physics I at university. At the very least i think itd be cool to apply it if i were to have a mechanical engineering project come up Edit: Also not sure I caught this properly, the simulation software helps with design of experiments?
@EngineeringGoneWild5 ай бұрын
You have what’s needed to learn CAE fundamentals given you’ve taken calculus 1-3 and physics. CAE can be used to obtain DOE outputs, but you will still need to setup one yourself.

Hi @@EngineeringGoneWild , Thank You for your reply. With that being said, do you have any online course recommendations on Design of Experiments? From what I understand, it's quite statistics-based.
