IF WE HAVE TO CHECK FROM EXCEL AND ADOPT REINFORCEMENT FROM EXCEL THEN WHAT IS POINT OF DESIGNING IN ETABS.. ETABS DOES NOT ANALYSE RETAINING WALL AS IT SHOULD BE ANALYSED BECAUSE ETABS TENDS TO ANALYSE ANY WALL AS SHEAR WALL..

I think the shear reinforcement you provided is not in proper direction #3@8 is for shrinkage and temperature, and shear force should only provided by concrete as we know for slabs> my regards

I'll provide reference for that shortly, but if we also consider practically, the reinforcement in horizontal direction will come in action when shear acts on wall.

The values like loading is extracted from etabs, the thickness will be your judgement based on the forces while the soil angle, density, water table etc from soil report

Hi, are you providing the steel reinforcement 2237mm2 in rear face and 2237mm2 front face or 2237/2mm2 in rear and 2237/2mm2 front face?

Half on front and half on rear, as excel sheet mentions the percentage is evenly divided on front and rear face according to ACI code.

@@EngineeringLearningPlatform sir when i design concrete frame sucessfully, after checking all the members are passed successfully, But still the required Reinforced of the clumn for uper stories are more than the lower stories. Infacr which is wrong. So R/Sir please tell why this happened ?

Because of earthquake load, but practically if you see the column deaign videos i have uploaded i always take the highest value from any part of etabs result in same column and place it At bottom and decreasing as we go up, but not to compromise what is required in above stories.
