Illogical logics, Engineer sb. The point is very simple: A hadith are narrated by humans, and may have the chances of errors, while Quraan is revealed by Jibraeel AS from Allah (SWT) Prophet (SAW), so there is no obection at al. Also, even Bukhari's compilation a couple of hundred years after the Prophet (SAW). So, we need to connect Islamic history and jurisprudence involving our tabeen and Aimma karam as well who were born and raised well before the Imam Bukhari (RA). May Allah give us understanding and forgive our sins.

Exactly! The only matter he turns off his intellect is when it comes to authenticity and the general ideology of Hadiths.. .. more like he's scared to admit. Because 99% of his arguments are based on Sahih Hadiths. Javed Ghamidi sahab has the perfect ideology of Hadiths, he knows how much percent really is actual Sunnah preserved in it, and what percentage has nothing to do with Islam.. a lot of Hadith are the source of misguidance in Muslims, esp the 73sect one. There can be. But the question is how do you determine whether a narrative is authentic or not. Our classical scholars have developed a systematic scientific method to do so( study the science of hadith for details). Whereas people like ghamidi suggest that we should outright reject a hadith just bcz it apparently goes against our intellect. Problem is that you cannot apply tge same methodology in case of Quran. Many Quranic verses SEEM illogical, intellectually unacceptable but we still accept them. It’s just that human brain isnt perfect and we cannot fully trust it to authenticate the sources.

Ahadees needs to be tested because they are recorded and coveyed to us by men and women who were not prophets. By the way no body, including prophets can see angels in their original form unless Allah makes it possible. All prophets mentioned in Quran who saw angels, they saw them in human form. Therefore they argue with them untill angles revealed them their identities. PLEASE REPENT.

The traditional narrations, which have been recorded & communicated by the people over a long period of centuries in most cases (except Mawatta Imam Malik) and are attributed to the sayings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as "Ahadees", are important (if authentic) in the understanding of Islam and Sunnah. But, Ahadees cannot be considered in equal status with Quran e Majeed because of the elements of Human errors (by chance mistakes or deliberate falsification) in the chain of communication. Only the Quran e Majeed which has been revealed and preserved by Almighty Allah is the absolute truth and a standard to check the authenticity of Ahadees, not any other human being like Imam Bukhari or Imam Muslim or others etc. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) life and Sunnah was 100% based upon the teachings of Quran e Majeed through its practical demonstration. So, Quran e Kareem is not only the Divine Book descended by Allah Almighty but it also explains the Sunnet e Rasool of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) in vast detail. The problem is our Ulma e Deen more rely on the traditional sayings attributed to Prophet (PBUH) i.e. Ahadees rather than Quran e Kareem.

Khalidmajeed, Yes, the Quran is, undoubtedly, unquestionably the divine words of Allah and is protected, preserved by Allah. No Muslims (outside Indian subcontinent) believe SAHEEH Hadiths are words of Allah or divine. Hadiths are collections of Rasul sa., works, advices, actions, and his consent. And to understand, obey, follow Quran precisely, accurately, we Muslims definitely need Saheeh Hadiths. Without Saheeh Hadiths - you can not understand or obey, follow Quran. For example - Quran says pray NAMAJ. How will I pray NAMAJ without Saheeh Hadiths? Quran says perform HAJJ. How will I perform HAJJ, and in which months, date, rules without Saheeh Hadiths? Quran says, pay Zakat. How, how many percentage, yearly or 6 monthly, how much property on which Zakat should be given etc? And, NAMAJ, HAJJ, ZAKAT ARE FOUNDATION DOCTRINES (THERE ARE MORE - One God, All Rasuld, all kitabs, hell, heaven, QIYAMAT, takder , Angels, etc). If anyone denies, refuses Saheeh Hadiths, he refuses, denies Quran according to the Quran - Quran 4:115 - "" If anyone opposes, denies, rejects Rasullah, after hedayet is clear to him and follows a path different from man of faith ( Sahabas , Imandar Muslims), I, Allah will direct him towards the same path (wrong path, deviated path). And I will burn him in fire of JAHANNAM - what a destroying place to stay. "" "". Quran 33:21 - "-For believers (Momin), there are excellent examples in Prophet Mohammad sa" ". Quran 4:80 -" those who obey, follow Rasul, as if they follow Allah - - - "". Quran 4:65 - " - - those (munafiq) CAN NEVER BE MOMIN, MUSLIM unless they obey, follow, agree with You (Mohammad) as arbitrator, judge, decision maker, ruler of whole disputed, conflicting, contradicted issues, matters, topics, problems. - - -" ". This is new fitna- Ahle Quran, Munkare Hadiths. It is dangerous for Iman. May Allah save all Muslims from all these new fitnas ( Qadiani Munkare Hadiths, Ahle Quran, Bahai, Kabar puja, etc).

@@michaelalan5520 As per authentic historical record, Ahadees were not written under the guidance and supervision of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) neither endorsed or verified by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) himself. Similarly, Muslims don't have a single book or originally collected record of Ahadees which was written by any closely associated Companions of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) like Abu Bakar (R.A.) or Umar (R.A.) or Usman (R.A.) or Ali (R.A.) or any other notable Sahabi e Rasool (RA). First compilation of the collection of Ahdees was written nearly 150 year after the death of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Whereas, the collection of Ahadees which are allegedly claimed to be as the most authentic or Sahih Ahadees like Al-Bukhari, Al-Muslim and other books of Sihah e Sittah were written after a period of 250 years to 450 years after the death of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Each Collector of the Ahadees had his own personal criteria based on his likeness, opinion or preferences for the collection of Ahadees, dependent on the people to people communication spanning over many centuries. Now, coming to your points which I summarize below with my own responses: Micheal Alan: (i) Ahadees are the words/ sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the denial/ rejection of Ahadees is the denial of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Me: Not agreed. Your claim seems to be a fanatic and biased one based on the ignorance, against the logic and historical record. In reality Ahadees are the collection of narrations which are traditionally associated with the Verbal Sayings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through the chain of people memories over a period of multiple centuries. The criteria of the collection of Ahadees of each Collector was highly personalized, opinion based, inconsistent and unreliable since it was largely dependent on the individual personalities i.e. person to person communication (mostly non-written and verbal) over a period of multiple centuries. Neither Quran e Majeed, nor the established facts related with the era of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) were considered as the most significant or major contributing factors in the careful selection of Ahadees. Rather, individual personalities were given too much emphasis in the selection and collection of Ahadees. As declared by the Almighty Allah, the ultimate criteria (Furqan) to identify or judge the Haq (Truth) mentioned in the previous Books like Torah, Zaboor and Anjeel etc is the Quran e Majeed (Furqan e Hameed) because of the man-made alterations and corruption (Tahreef) done in those previous Books. Almighty Allah also ordered to the Prophet Muhammad PBUH that all matters of conflicts/ crimes committed by the Muslims or Non-muslims i.e. Jews, Christian and Pagans (if they reach to the Prophet Muhammad PBUH for resolution) must be decided by him in accordance with the Law and Justice Rules mentioned in the Holy Quran (Furqan e Hameed). Therefore, a Hadees is a traditional narration for which it cannot be said with 100% certainty that these are the actual Words or Saying of Prophet Muhammad PBUH. The ultimate criteria to judge its reliability/ authenticity is the Holy Quran (Furqan e Hameed). A Hadees can be considered as "Reliable" or "Authentic" in its conversational meaning if it meets the teachings, commandments and message of the Quran e Majeed (Furqan e Hameed) along with the established facts related with the era of Prophet Muhammad PBUH. If any Hadees meets above two conditions even then we cannot claim with 100% surety that a Hadees is the actual Saying of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), as the Prophet didn't leave with us any endorsed written record of Ahadees, rather, he handed over complete written record, carefully checked, verified and endorsed Book of Divine Revelation - Quran e Majeed. Similarly, any Hadees which oversteps the defined boundaries by The Quran or contradicts against the message, commandment or teaching of the Quran e Majeed must be considered as fabricated, false and un-authentic Hadees regardless the claim of its Collector as a Sahih Hadees whether it belongs to Al-Bukhari or Al-Muslim or from any other source. Micheal Alan: (ii) Without Sahih Hadees you cannot understand, follow, obey Quran. Me: Quran e Majeed has been descended upon Prophet Muhammad PBUH by the Almighty Allah in an easy to understand prevalent language of Arabs in the conversational style. It was very easy to understand by the Non- believers whatever Quranic message was communicated to them by the Prophet Muhammad PBUH. However, there are few places in the Quran which are surely difficult to understand without Sahih Ahadees. So, I partially agree with you. However, at large your statement is misleading. Micheal Alan: We need Ahadees since we have learnt from Ahadees how to perform Namaz (Salah), Zakat, Hajj and other obligations and rituals etc. Quran e Kareem does not provide us details how to perform these obligations. Me: Muslims have learnt how to perform different religious obligations like Namaz (Salah), Zakat, Hajj directly from the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) gave us "Practical Demonstration (which is called Sunnah e Rasool)" of how to perform religious obligations and rituals along with the minute details. All Sunnah e Rasool (PBUH) have been preserved and transferred through a continuous process of "Practical Demonstration" to all parts of World generations after generations by the Companions of Rasool (RA), by the Ahl al-Bayt of Rasool (AS) and by the later followers of Deen e Islam. These Practical Demonstrations related with the obligations of Deen (Sunnah e Rasool) are still well intact in all major Sects/ Schools of Thought of Muslims with minor differences. As far as the Ahadees are concerned, Ahadees cannot be considered comparable to the Quran and Sunnah (Sunnat) e Rasool (PBUH). However, all those Ahadees which are in conformity with the Quran along with the established facts may be considered and utilized as Sahih Hadees. Such Ahadees are very important and useful reference material to understand the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH and Quran e Majeed.

To hold fast to Islamic injunctions, the Muslims have three things: First, the Holy Quran. Secondly, the practice of the Holy Prophet (saw), which is called the Sunnah. The third source of guidance is Hadith. Hadith and Sunnah should not be considered as one and the same thing. They are distinct, Hadith is one thing and Sunnah is another. By Sunnah we mean the practice of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him), to which he adhered and which appeared along with the Holy Qur’an and will accompany it. In other words, the Holy Qur’an is the Word of God Almighty and the Sunnah is the practice of the Holy Prophet (pbuh). Ahadith are those traditions which were compiled from the statements of diverse narrators a century and a half after the demise of Holy Prophet of Islam (pbuh). It has ever been the way of God that the Prophets bring the Word of God for the guidance of people and illustrate it in practice with their conduct so that no doubt should remain in the minds of people with regard to the Divine Word. They act upon it and urge others to do the same. Sunnah is a continuous practice which was started by the Holy Prophet (saw). It is only next to the Holy Qur’an in its certainty. As the Holy Prophet (saw) was commissioned for the propagation of the Qur’an, he was also commissioned for establishing the Sunnah. As the Holy Qur’an is certain so is the continuous Sunnah which he practised. Both these tasks were performed by the Holy Prophet (saw) as his duty. For instance, when the Prayer services were made obligatory, the Holy Prophet (saw) illustrated by his action how many rak‘as were to be performed in each Prayer service. In the same way, he illustrated the performance of the pilgrimage. He thus established thousands of his companions on his practice. The practical illustration which has been continuous among the Muslims is the Sunnah. On the other hand, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) did not have the Hadith recorded in his presence nor did he make any arrangement for its compilation. When the time of the companions of the Holy Prophet(saw) had passed some of their successors thought of compiling the Ahadith and they were compiled. It is true that even if the Ahadith, which were collected after a long time, had not been compiled this would not have affected the real teaching of Islam for the Holy Quran and Sunnah had fulfilled this need. The divine mission of the Prophet-hood of the Prophet of Islam Muhammad(pbuh) was to practice and preach the message of the Holy Quran. He was ordered by God Almighty to follow only the clear path of the Holy Quran in the matter of religion: (Holy Quran 45:20-21) Then We set thee on a clear path in the matter of religion; so follow it, and follow not the evil inclinations of those who know not. Verily, they will not avail thee aught against Allah. And as for the wrongdoers, some of them are friends of others; but Allah is the Friend of the righteous. This Book contains clear evidences for mankind and is a guidance and a mercy for a people who possess firm faith. Hazrat Ayesha(ra), when asked to describe the Prophet’s character, answered that his character was the Quran (Abu Dawud). What Holy Prophet(pbuh) did was what the Holy Quran taught; what the Quran taught was nothing else than what he did. A saying or a practice of Holy prophet of Islam (pbuh) can not be against the message of the Holy Quran. A prophet never goes against His revelation. God Almighty has mentioned in reference of the Holy Prophet of Islam (pbuh): (Holy Quran 69:45,47): '''And if he had forged and attributed any sayings to Us, We would surely have seized him by the right hand, And then surely We would have severed his life-artery''. A true Muslim, after reading this verse of the Holy Quran, can not appraise that Holy prophet of Islam(pbuh), in the existence of this warning of Allah Almighty (if he had falsely attributed the smallest thing to God, He would have severed his jugular vein) had practised or preached something that had been forbidden in he Holy Quran. The correct way, therefore, is neither to treat the Ahadith as having greater authority than the Quran, and not to prefer the statements in the Ahadith which are contradictory of the Quran ; nor to regard the Ahadith vain and false. The Quran and Sunnah should judge the Ahadith and those that are not opposed to them should by all means be accepted. If we come across a Hadith which is opposed to the text of the Holy Quran, and it cannot be interpreted in any other way, we would reject it as spurious, inasmuch as God, the Glorious, has said: ''The revelation of this Book is from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise.'' [45:3] ''These are the Signs of Allah which We rehearse unto thee with truth. In what word, then, after rejecting that of Allah and His Signs will they believe?'' (Quran 45:7 ) This means that if the Holy Quran is conclusive and positive about a matter and its meaning is clear, a believer should not accept a Hadith which is clearly opposed to it. The same message is in the verse: '‘In what thing will they believe thereafter?'’(Quran 7:186). According to these verses a true Muslim must accept the Book of Allah without condition and should accept a Hadith conditionally. (Ruhanikhazain)

Quran 4:61 - when it is said to unbeliever to accept, believe to what Allah has revealed and accept, submit, obey Rasul, then you (Mohammad) will see those who are hypocrite, unbeliever, avoid, by pass, detour, reject you (Rasul) in aversion. So, if you reject Saheeh Hadiths (Sunnah), you thereby reject Quran and you are outside the fold of Islam. PERIOD.

Inallaha wa ina ilaihi rajeun. I am extremely sorry for His views about Quranic incident about Prophet Ibrahim alaihi salam and Maryam Alai Salaam. I am extremely regretful for His interpretation of those incidents. According to Him, arguments and reasoning is not good but Prophets of God are extremely wise, reasonable and logical. They never doubt about God and His affairs but since they are fan of God's wisdom and ways, in order to acquire knowledge, they ask God, How God would do it? Angels then reply, it would be by out of the equations or conventions. They were not wrong! Our ways to religious interpretations have been wrong very seriously. Hence Proven. Secondly, Hadith are not as perfect as Quran. Stop comparing Hadith with Quran. Hadith is secondary to Quran. There is no doubt about it.
