Always impressive how a neglected old engine can, with a little bit of care and attention, run again with relatively little effort. Also amazing how much better it ran after you'd left it running for an hour. Great work as always Joseph.

Thank you Tim. Hey I am proud of getting her going. Now I can give it a run often and not just sit there with out a life. Cheers

I just knew that engine would run with you at the helm. 🙂 Doing what you do best. Are you taking it back home with you now? 🙂She sounds great!

Yep I have to say that it would have not run with everybody in the helm haha. I needed skills and muscle strength to not give up on her and understand whats happening inside. It is in "Home" (as in safe and preserved under my owner ship) but will have to stay out side for a long time. Thanks for watching a comment. It was nice reading a comment from you. Cheers

Cool, it was easy. Its a lister, they always start.😊

Not easy as it sounds. I am sure most of others will not be able to get it to run. It took some heafty muscle strength to keep cranking all that time. Thank for Watching cheers

well done :) if its 1800rpm most probably it was powering a 60hz genset
@enginelover1Ай бұрын
I doubt that. I know these engines very well. If it had a geny application it would have had a cast cowling to accommodate a flanged bell housing. This engine cam from a pump room. Most probably it came to Malta as 2nd hand. These engine where made for 100 of uses its hard to know exactly. Thanks for watching hope you liked the drama.

At the moment I had done nothing to it. I have got previous engines on the to do list. I can not restore always the engines that came last. Got my self a 1030 from that time :) Thank forwatching.
