For someone to have a idea to build something like that and living to see it become reality is brilliant. Not too sure if he is still with us. Hope he is 👍🇬🇧.

@@tamsin6455 . I didn’t know that. I only live about 15 miles away from the telescope, but I’ve never been to visit the place. I’m definitely going to go soon.

I would say the Mark 2 version of Lovells telescope and the American copy was used to track the US moon landing The American design was in California while Lovells second telescope was built and set up in NSW Parkes. Parkes had played an important role in the American moon landing

GODINN LIVES and how many directions were rockets being launched in in the 50s? Slightly south east is the only one you won't know about before hand, from the USSR.

The rust is in the original dish that is now underneath a new skin that was put on as a replacement
