England always had an easy path, just like in 2018. I mean they reached semi in previous WC without beating any powerhouse team. Once they faced strong team, they lost (Belgium twice and Croatia).

If a bad team comes first, England will play the bad team in the knockouts. Different seeded pots are there for a reason. If you do well and top your qualifying group, a look at an easier group is not out of the realms of possibility. Everyone seems to just call England out like they get to pick the group they’re put in, but Ronaldo is apparently the goat every international break scoring hat tricks against Lichtenstein 💀 just all hate towards England and it’s pretty sad to be fair. Many other teams have teams of exactly englands qualify and won’t touch silverware for a long time. Make it make sense
