I have had my England sofa and loveseat for about 12 years. Our cushions are getting a bit worn and my husband and I were talking about getting the cushions replaced rather than by a new sofa and loveseat. This furniture has held up extremely well.

I just ordered an England brand sofa and love seat that will be delivered in about three weeks. Hope it holds up as advertised. I've read pros and cons on this brand as well as other brands. I do realize also that in some households it would take cement furniture to withstand the abuse it receives so unless I would view the actual living situation I don't always believe opinions.

Strong but, cushions are so cushiony sitting hurts my hips. Other than that, I love it!

Plywood is way strong than just boards of wood that could split and also shrink over time.

This furniture is not that great either. It's still throw away. If you asked me to reupholster it I would advise you against it. But I do understand not everyone can afford high end furniture.
