Compare this city to St Petersberg, Russia 😮 It looks desolate Yet if I moved to Russia, I'd painfully miss red brick buildings and black people, and working class white British... to me that's my "home". They feel like home❤ Now if I could take 500,000-1 million British with me and move to Russia and we built those red brick building towns over there, in different parts of Russia - with Victorian style buildings for shops and cafes etc... build businesses there, live alongside the Russians... eat their cheap organic produce and pay their crazy 3 dollars a month electricity prices... then I'd be very happy! Export the best of British! The decent ordinary British people. And let the corporations and the warmongers elites destroy each other without us
@xXXMFAXXx2 ай бұрын
No thanks to British culture import. The world is just fine without British things neither does it need Victorian buildings. Turkey has amazing historic sites compared to whole of Europe that's a fact. While Europe history is nothing but imported secularised versions of whatever culture that's under its colonoscopy. Britain attaching itself to history was the curse of the the millennia. America at least freed slaves

Manchester is rougher than Glasgow imo. At least in Glasgow humour in my experience breaks the ice and you can avoid a lot of issues with common sense. Manchester is just full of people with bad attitudes who think they're bigger than they actually are.
@rjflores4383 ай бұрын
Im from Manchester, although I lived in Wandsworth from the age of 2 to 5 and then my mum moved us back up to Manny. I have to say that, like London, it is a very diverse city, and me being half Spanish and olive skinned, I never suffered any sort of discrimination at all and generally speaking it is a very tolerant place. In terms.of crime, as long as you stay out of the wrong crowd and the roads, then you can probably live peacefully without violence affecting you. However, Manchester does definitely have a rough edge, in many inner city areas like Harpurhey, Openshaw, Moss Side, Ardwick etc, and you definitely have to be streetwise and have your wits about you in certain neighbourhoods. Piccadilly Gardens is definitely not the most salubrious of areas and it does have quite a menacing vibe especially with all the drug dealers and addicts and alcoholics and people on the margins of society you see there, it is best to not walk through it in the early hours of the morning. On the positive side, Manchester was worse about 15 to 20 years ago, and the gun crime has reduced significantly since then although knife crime is on the rise. All in all it is a cool city with lots going on.
