Anyone who comes to the UK will have to work hard. If you have a job, you will cover your costs and look after your family, if you have a good business, then you can make more money and become wealthy. Nobody in the UK is rich anymore from just doing mazdoori, you either have a very good high paying job or your own business. This is the same as in Pakistan. The only advantage of life in the UK over Pakistan is social safety net. If you are ill the NHS will treat you free of cost. Your children will go to school for free, they will be able to get loans to go to university, if you are unemployed you get enough money to eat, if you have a problem the police will not ask for money. This safety net is the biggest difference. People should not imagine the UK is like it was in the old days where you will come here, drive a taxi or work in a factory and support both a family here and in Pakistan. The cost of living in the UK has gone up too much.
