Good pickup on crucial Ardie lineout steal, swings the game back to us. He’s best player on the world for a reason! AB’s proud 🖤

I was a little concerned about Talea's actual speed? He seems to make space, but tended not to back himself in an actual race. Is he not quick?

Agree with that mate..he looks sluggish. Yes he scored 2 tries .but he looked lost at times ..strong boy ..but forme lacks top end pace

I think Razor should invite the Auckland Blues forward coach to join his team. The best way of playing un-defendable rugby in the modern era was displayed by The Auckland Blues when they pulverize the Chiefs to win the final. Again that game established the fact that when your forwards play all their parts right the way The Blues Forwards did, the backs will rise to the occasion no doubt. Erasmus is using that method to utilize his fat forwards to good use. I don't mean that in a nasty way but we all know they tire after 30minutes of constant fast rugby so they need extra get-fit training. Fundamentally from the beginning rugby was a forwards dependent team sport where all the forwards were stars and were never replaced unless crippled somehow. The backs were and still remain finishers and should be paid less.

The team selection process should be lock the forwards in a room for half an hour then the ones that walk out are in the team. My moneys on the front row and Blackadder.

Pretty good analysis, obviously a deep thinker of the game. You're not a coach are you?

Since everyone is hating on Reiko at 13, why not possibly bring him in one position to utilise his natural speed and power a lot better - Playing at 12. He should potentially have received the ball a fraction earlier from set piece moves. He's the fastest backline player in squad so why not utilise it in the midfield to cut through the defense and offload to your centre. Outside of Caleb Clarke as another midfield option he is probably the player in squad who is closest, or could become the closest in playing style to Ma'a Nonu (Irreplaceable) Don't forget Nonu was initially a crash&bash type player, his Kicking/Passing was developed and refined over many years - He wasn't always the complete package. Playing Reiko at 12 allows the other midfielders in squad to play at 13. All of the other midfielders in ABs squad have the vision/distribution/organisational skills that are be better suited for a 13. My long-term wish has always been 12-Reiko/13-ALB

Billy Proctor is in the squad, so is ALB. Rieko coming on from the bench is a better option for me. ALB is a high IQ 13 wasted on the bench.

AB's coaches often fall into the trap of having the best players on the field, even if they aren't the best in their respective positions, centre has often been this position. A champion team vs a team of champions.

@@Wheres_My_Sports_At I believe for this England series they would have opted for familiarity and form. Just get the two matches out of the way and fingers cross to avoid a repeat of Ireland. Just sticking to the bare minimum. I also have a feeling apart from Jason Ryan, the intensity of international footy seems to have surprised the rest of the coaches especially on attack? I can be wrong. Hope I am.

Absolutely stoked to get comment of the past week 🙌🏾 I doubt this hot take will get the same acclaim though 😂: AB’s should experiment with a backline version of the Bomb squad. Hear me out.. a 4/4 split on the bench: Hooker, Prop, Prop, Lock/Flanker Halfback, Beaudie, Rieko, Caleb. All on at 40-50mins. Let me explain: these are our most explosive/quick players and they’ll be attacking tired opposition. Perfect way to use Beaudie at his age, Rieko’s been struggling to find form and this could help his confidence, Clarke is the fittest and strongest wing currently (super rugby proved this). Also, his strength is in the highball - arguably, a weak point for Telea. Worth a try if you ask me! Could be revolutionary - especially with our current personnel

I got a feeling the bald guy with glasses didn't really watch the Allblacks vs England game. First he said England got a penalty before halftime then picks Mark Talea as his player choice of the game, the same Talea that got caught out twice on his wing that lead to tries, I think he's what we call "winging it"
