Englebert Strauss work trousers, are they the best you can get?

Been using my Engelbert Winter for couple of months. Been great at keeping the cold out. Phone pocket is too small & pockets a little deep but been the best trouser I’ve had. Ordering the summer version now.

I can say as a site plumber on price work, englebert Strauss are second to none. I used to have snickers but they are overpriced and just don’t last. I’ve battered my Strauss trousers for 18months and absolutely love them. I have Strauss s3 safety shoes and again the tread wears out first before the shoes give in. 5⭐️

Just ripped yet another pair of scruffs, they just aren’t flexible enough and either rip or fail at the crotch. Best pair of trousers I’ve ever had were helly Hansen ones. Just ordered a pair and a new set of knee pads, I’ll let you know what they are like when they arrive

Snickers flexi work, or flexi work 2 if you can justify the expense, make sure you go to the shop and get your size right as there are lots of variation in size.

the code on the flexi work 2 is , Snickers6944 , they are slim fit but super flexi material, so comfortable, if you like a more loose fit, I'd recommend the original flexi work, nice fit , clean look, rip stop , flexi material just on the groin and above the knees, and half the price , excellent in summer as there light and breathable but I wear them in winter too just with the Snickers long John pants, the price is high but they are worth the investment, expect them to last a year of heavy use before they will start to thin at the seam crotch, I also rate the d30 knee pads pricy but definitely worth it !

Ive had 4 pairs of snickers stretch they've all split in the same pace on the knees and ripped between the legs after about 6 months. Going to try something else

I'm not sure what the name is... Something ridiculous like scruffs trade flex pro plus minus stretch pockets holster flaps... But I bought them about a year and a half ago to replace my snickers all round work trousers... Which lasted about 3 months... And other than the scruffs logo washing off the leg, bit of scratching on the pockets where my cutters go they're pretty much as new... Only problem is they're too hot if you work in doors, which I now do, hence me watching this video 😂 But yeah would recommend them, can't vouch for the cheaper pairs though

They have plenty of size, I'd say go a size down. I'm 5.7, 12 stone on a good month......small is more that enough

You right scruffs are rubbish I got snickers,engelbert and blaklader x1900 high recommend any of these
