I love that jute rug in your daughter’s room & the blue rug you have on top of it. I’m a blue person so Ioved the blue & texture as well so to me the jute rug was just chewy. But the combo of the two was ❤ beautiful.

Loved all your finds! Really loved the pictures for your bedroom and that rug that you currently have, it’s almost like the pics were made to go with it! I’m dying to see it finished! I did want to tell you that your girls are absolutely precious and it makes me smile to see them walk into the thrift store and go right for the ironstone. Love the big white pitcher. I collect those as well. You don't have a pewter creamer it is silverplate. Pewter doesn't tarnish like that. I am binge watching all your hauls and have not seen you purchase anything pewter. The two framed art pieces say Paris on them in the corner as well as the subject and artist's signature. Both are two of Paris's most famous buildings. One is the Arc de Triomphe and the other is Notre Dame Cathedral and showing the book sellers' booths along the Seine River. It is on Isle de Cite, one of two islands in the middle of the Seine River in the heart of Paris. I lease an apartment on the other island. I would have paid her full price as they are worth ten times that much. LOVE them. They were made to sell to the five million tourists who visit Paris yearly and want to take things home to remember their trip. You buy them from the street artists near Sacre Cour, etc. Thrifting is always about value not price. I see too many thrifters get hung up on price and make decisions on price when it should be a value decision. What you save asking for a discount will just be spent buying other stuff of little value that you won't even remember days later. The items you buy high you will love the most. I always say if it hurts you to pay the asking price, buy it. I have never regretted buying high or what others consider overpaying. It is not about "savings money" because you just spend more on the next thrifting outing. It is never about what your household budget is. That's an excuse. I recommend buying one fabulous piece and skipping 20 small insignificant items. Remember Google is your friend. You can look anything up there if you are not sure of what you have. I am now 70 and always have been a constant treasure hunter and have learned a lot of lessons about buying since age 22. Okay, I am going to binge more of your vlogs now.

Sarah… nice items! I love the pictures and the pitcher …love the shape of it. I know what you mean about “naming our style”. When people talk about my “style “ …they simply say “that looks like a Jayne style 🤷‍♀️”…. LOL! I like certain things, and I don’t want a huge collection per say. So I’m selective and it is a mix of different styles I guess. Pray you are all doing okay with the heat. Not a nice time for a cold. I just googled if you use a you examine your piece under a magnifying glass, if you are looking at ivory, there will be lines on the surface, if you’re looking at bone there will be pores :) I wish I could ship you items from here in England, love your style x

I'm pretty sure your creamer is not pewter but indeed silver or silverplate. Pewter has a very dull finish and doesnt tarnish like silver. That doesn't take away from its beauty but if you're really looking for pewter, that's not it.
