I love it! I'm a HUGE plaid lover. One of my guest rooms is what we affectionately call the "Ralph Lauren" room. It's done in a very similar plaid with hunt prints and family antiques.I just love seeing what you create!

The wallpaper is lovely. And your toilet roll holder! So pretty! The coral ribbons on the shades are brilliant. Making a frame into a medicine cabinet is such a creative idea. You have inspired me to clean out my fridge! Not the same as redecorating-- but in the same family. Thank you! Thinking of you and sending your daughter easy birth juju and happy sleeping newborn juju. So much love to you! I love it!!! I really love how you fixed up the toilet holder and added gold. The cabinet is awesome and the framed wallpaper. I’m going to try the framed wallpaper because my husband doesn’t like it because it’s hard to remove. I think stone or bricks the thin ones like tiles for the behind of our mirror. My daughter and I were talking yesterday about re doing our bathroom. You've given me a lot of really good ideas and things to go start thrifting for as our tastes are very similar. I love how it came off. I would never have thought tartan wallpaper.

Hi Lynsey. You and your husband have achieved a stunning tartan style bathroom. I felt like I was in a Scottish castle. The tartan is gorgeous and that red in your cabinet is beautifully done. Navy and red shades make it complete. Horrible weather raining and windy today in Sunderland but I have still been out to the shops for wood so back home and real fire lit for cozy night in. That toilet roll holder is excellent Lynsey very well put together. Well have a good week and love from the UK 🇬🇧.

Full disclosure I'm not a fan of plaid, however with that said I think you did a fantastic job Linsey (and hubby too)! It's very well done. I realize this is "English" however if I was to use the bathroom, I'd feel as though I was being transported to Scotland as I associate plaid with the Scotts. And I've just got to say, that toilet paper (roll ) holder is absolutely regal. Who wouldn't want to use the loo with such a beautiful regal holder beside it👑 Thank you for taking us through your make-over. So many creative ideas & always appreciate your creativity/talent. I love the room. I feel that behind the toilet is very dark. Maybe mirrors instead of the wallpaper in the medicine cabinet. Looks very nice.

Overall I like most of the elements and ideas in the room. I might have only done the wallpaper above a high chair rail moulding all around the room, and a darker blue paint on the bottom. I love guest baths and powder rooms that are dark and cozy with gold touches.
