I will also be starting a series of translated song covers. These songs will be translated from either JP to ENG or from ENG to JP, the latter of which I don't see happening very often.
This came about as a bit of a personal frustration I see with translated song covers because even with some of the best and well-known of these singers out there, I feel like too many liberties were taken with the original lyrics for the purpose of making the translated song work and that there are significant meanings that were lost.
I figured if I had any right to criticize them I might as well try my own hand at it.
I probably won't do this for every song I cover (I'm not considering DAYS for example since I have no idea how the rap would work in English) but it's something I'd like to put on the table as a way to promote my "arsenal" let's say.
