I recently returned to dofus with some friends, last time we played was from 2006-2012 I think. The 4 man team we are currently running is: dmg rogue, tank panda, mp reduction enu and a xelor for extra positioning. Its been working really well and made us realize a dedicated healer is not really that necesary (at least in our experience, since each class has some form of sustain thats enough for almost everything and makes fight way faster).
@Benjamight4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I like the sound of that team Mauricio! Welcome back and thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it.

Hello Benjamight !! I tend to create a team of 5 by having Sram+Rogue as damage dealers and Foggernaut as a healer/positioner and Sadida as a support and Masqueraider as a tank. The general idea of this team is keeping the enemy at bay with high damage potential in close combat by Rogue, Sram, and Masqueraider and forcing the enemy to come closer due to the debuffs and long-range damage they'll receive from Sadida and Foggernaut ... I think I'll need your feedback on this one as I want to try this team soon NOTE: this video of yours is just so great, very detailed, and informative and I think you're one of the few English content creators that talk about Dofus nowadays ... Kepp it up

I feel obligated to comment here. First of all great vid ( coming from another retired english dofus commentator ) :3. Second: Dofus has evolved so much that the best role combinations to look for in a team have slightly changed from what you mentioned. Obviously it's still personal preferrence to play whatever is most fun to you, but if we're talking most optimised combos/roles it's actually better to go for -> 1x Support ( buffing/debuffing/etc ... ) + 1x map manip + 2x damage dealers. Healing is not nescessary for most of the content ( apart from a few select cases where damage is unavoidable and you need a specialised healing class ) so most content can be cleared by blitzing the enemies before they become a real threat, and healing any damage that does go through with the "offhealing" spells/weapons.
@Benjamight4 жыл бұрын
I could see that Excynic - those are great points. I think a healer just brings 'comfort' to newer players, because it's nice to know that if you DO loose a bunch of HP on an unexpected move from the enemies, you have someone on the team dedicated to patching them back up. You're right though - healing weapons really make a difference... same with all the ways to generate shields now. I've often wondered if someone could get by using a shield generator like a Masq or a damage reducer like a Feca, and be ok. Anyways, thanks again for reaching out - this is awesome feedback.
@rancidrode4 жыл бұрын
@@Benjamight its 100% possible just using shields for 99% of the content, but just using a feca is abit harder since you'll need to heal the damage that got through whereas with shields no damage except for poisons can go through the shields. Also yeah youre right a healer brings comfort, i started fresh on a new team and even with 12 years of experience i still rather bring a healer for the comfort it gives me ( + eni are practically damage dealers anyways with their ridiculous high damage for a healer ) xD

I have a team of cra (dam dealer), panda (positionner), rogue (most of time support, rarely dam dealer through wall of bombs) and I'm thinking about a 4th char which will be foggernaut healer, but I dont know if my choice gonna be the right one.

Hi there Ayoub - thanks for the support as always! Yes, there was a LOT of behind-the-scenes work that went into this one, and it was totally worth it! Your team looks good... I think a Foggernaut healer could be good or even an Int. Sadida. Believe it or not, you have a fantastic setup for a Rogue bomb-wall focused team! I know getting used to working those walls can be challenging, and honestly gets easier at higher levels than lower levels - but I'd try to utilize that more, you'll probably like the results. :-)

Hey ! Thanks for the video it was very informative ! I currently have a 199 team of Rogue/Panda/Ecaflip/Eniripsa. Rogue is obviously the main damage dealer, with Panda as a placement specialist. Eca is a bit versatile but I don’t want to change it since it’s always been my main. Now eniripsa has really nice buffs and heals but it seems a bit one dimensional and lackluster to me, as you always just buff and heal. I was wondering if replacing it with a sadida who would heal/mp red would work in your opinion ? Or would the map get too messy with bombs/trees/puppets ? Thanks again !
@Benjamight4 жыл бұрын
Hi Blaguedu78 - so glad you enjoyed the video. Your team sounds awesome... but you point out the thing that is both great and a bit boring about the Eni class. They do their job and they do it well... but it's hard to get them to do much other than that. The Sadida would be a fantastic option, but your maps will definitely get a bit more messy. The goal is to control that mess... put something on the bombwall next to a real wall, then plant a tree in front of them to force them to move an extra step before getting off the bombwall! I've played the Sadida for a while now, and I think at most I've typically had 4 trees on a map before they are killed off or the match ends. I probably average 2 or 3... but then again, I'm still only around mid level, so maybe that changes at your level gameplay. Personally, if you're getting bored of the Eni, I'd say go for it. I would just build the Sadida on the same account at the Eni, that way you can switch between the 2 based upon what you are going to fight. Costs more kama-wise for gear an such, but could be awesome to have 2 different type healers to choose from each time you want to play.
@Blaguedu784 жыл бұрын

Thanks Millard. I'll admit that my experience with the Hupper is limited at the moment (building one currently), but the idea behind them as a support role is in their secondary effects (-AP, -MP, -range, damge, etc) based upon the elemental combination they attack with. The reason I added this to the very challenging setup, is because it would take someone who knows the class very well (I'm not that...lol) in order to plan their combinations ahead of time each turn to know what they are going to try to "nerf" and on which enemy each turn.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the Rouge/Elio, just because both require dedicated spaces on the map (I'd throw Sadida in that mix as well with the trees), but that's just me. I'd pick 1 or the other... if you go with Rogue, the Sac & Panda will be fantastic with it, as they both can help move enemies onto the bombwalls. Elio is just a straight up fantastic class and pairs well with most classes... especially Iop, because it will allow you to use CC range spells (even Iops Wrath) clear across the map with a massive damage buff...lol. So, it's entirely up to you, but that's my thoughts.

That's awesome Bench Santos - thank you! As for a 3rd member on that team, that's a tricky choice - I like both of your ideas. I'd say if you're not struggling with keeping yourself alive, an Iop would be fun because it will bring a lot of high damage - however, Iop's don't have any ways to heal themselves and I'm guessing your 2 characters are not necessarily focused on being a healer? An Eni would be a fantastic way to bring some stability through heals and AP buffs; however, they are not going to deal the kind of damage as your other two. Personally - I'd go to a 4 man team and add BOTH the Eni AND the Iop...lol. As a 3rd class option that I think would be a VERY good fit - because they can bring both heals, damage, and really add a variety of tactics would be the Foggernaut class! They are fantastic! Anyways, hopefully that helps. Best of luck and thanks again for supporting the channel - much appreciated!

Hello, i wan't to test the modified begginer team, but i don't see the utility of cra and wich compo of idols i can do. Mask and panda are close range and cra is a distance dps so i'm lost. thank you for the answer :)
@Benjamight4 жыл бұрын
Hi there Hisago. I'm not sure I can give much advice towards idols to use, but as far as the Cra I can definitely give some tips. The Cra has a few different options, depending on the element you go, but if you go with Chance or Strength - you'll want to keep distance, focus on stealing range & MP. If you're going with Int, you can get closer (if you want to) and take advantage of AP stealing... for Agility, you can go near or far, and using pushback you can help keep enemies away. Personally, I'm a huge fan of hybrid builds (Omni's at high levels are even more popular since Cra's have so my useful spells), and Cra's are fantastic for building almost any hybrid combination - especially at higher levels. I hope that helps - if you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to reach out and I'll see if I can give more information. Have a good one.

I have doubts choosing my 4th character... I like to play only PvM I currently play with multi/gc xelor and multi/gc feca (only have 2 characters at the moment and they are awesome) I play with my cousin who has sacrier, iop, eni and panda. We usually play close combat idols using score 302. I might want to add 2 characters to my team but don't want them to be any of the ones that my cousin already has. The 3rd one will be a wisdom enu for PMs debuffing and the 4th one I am between masquerade or cra. I use to play with my cousin a lot but I also like to play alone. I like cra because of the range and combined with enu it makes dungs easier. I thought about masquerade because it can make a lot of damage in close combat and give shield points to the team, but I don’t like characters that need specific states to use some spells What would you recommend me? You recommended a “close combat team” which would be choosing the masquerade but thinking about the 8-man team including the 4-man team of my cousin, should I choose mask or cra? Or do you think another class would make it better? Greetings from Colombia and sorry if I translated some words incorrectly.
@Benjamight4 жыл бұрын
Hi Juanjo2022 - I'm a pure PvM player as well, so I can totally relate! Are you looking for build a 4 man team, or just planning to still use the 2? If you're looking for suggestions to pair with your Xelor & Feca, just let me know. The team your cousin is using sounds very solid! In fact, I think that's a squad my brother used once as well - but maybe had an Eca in place of the Eni (he's not a big fan of straight healing classes...lol).
@MegaDonBastardo4 жыл бұрын
Benjamight Gaming Thanks for answering... you got a new sub. I am looking to pair with xelor & feca, but knowing the 4 characters that my cousin already has. Using the feca as a healer is a good choice? What weapon do you suggest for that? I want enu for mob control (taking PMs out of them) But the 4th character is my doubt It can't be ani, yop, panda or sacrier.
@Benjamight4 жыл бұрын
Looking at the full list of characters you already have, I think adding an Enu and Cra would be fantastic. Obviously they are both more 'range' based characters, but that may balance out the short range (depending on your elements) of the Xelor and Feca. I would not go with Masq since you don't like their play style. And if you want to use your Feca as a 'healer', just know it's not a strong healing class... it's more of a work-around-healing class, like I mentioned with the Rogue in my guide. However, coupling healing weapons/dofuses on a Feca WITH utilizing their damage elimination/reduction abilities - I believe you could go far. I hope that helps - also, thanks for the sub. :-)

what is a good team for duo?
@Benjamight4 жыл бұрын
Hi Florian - Duo's are always a bit trickier, because they will do AMAZING in some dungeons and then HORRIBLE in others - completely depending on which 2 you pick. Here are a couple solid teams I'm aware of: Panda/Rogue, Iop/Eni, Enu/Cra, and Sac/Eca. Honestly though, the Panda pairs well with just about any class, so you can't go wrong with a Panda/X of any type. I hope that helps.

@georgyboi42074 жыл бұрын
@@Benjamight Panda as full tank/lock, nothing special there. For easier dungeons any kind of dmg set can be used instead, str is usually cheap. Iop full str glass cannon, very few fights it may need some sustain, but rarely. Enutrof as full mp reduction, and some fights as a damage dealer, in case you need freedom achieve, or to make fights a bit faster. I usually go with full crit for some versatility, but agility is cheaper to build. and for elio I prefer agi. In case enutrof uses the agility set, I will put on intelligence instead.

Is there a particular class you're not enjoying any more since all the changes? Maybe you'd like to swap one out?
