English Electric Nighttime Symphony

First up we have 37521+37409 heading light engine passed Springs Branch, Wigan as they head from Preston to Crewe after working their leg of the 'North West Wanderer' railtour. These were shortly followed by 20132+20118 working the final leg of the tour from Preston-Crewe with 45118 'The Royal Artilleryman' dead in tow. The tour was eventful. Firstly 50050 'Fearless' failed on the approach to Carlisle and then there were issues around Wigan meaning that the 37's and 20's were late arriving at Preston. The tour featured 50050, 45118, 40013, 37521+37409 and 20132+20118. All filmed on 10th August 2024
