I absolutely adore everything about this beautiful man Phillip Vergeylen! My goodness I rarely adore every single thing in a home but, this was just top shelf, elegance, luxurious and welcoming. What great taste and beautiful collections throughout the home. Oh I hope to find another residence of his and his partner Paolo's because I want to see so much more.The china collection, crystal, and silver WOW! Interiors and Phillip so inspirational!

I absolutely LOVED this; the way it is so thoughtfully decorated and then re-decorated when you feel like there needs to be a slight changing. But also the fact that it feels and looks comfortable and is decorated with the things that are liked/loved. It may not be for everyone, but I love it. Homes that show character- to me, are the best! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING!

Such beautiful and extravagant collections beyond reach for many, yet all of us can incorporate books and flowers into our own homes for beauty. I loved seeing this gorgeous flat - I think that even among all these incredible collections, it looks VERY comfortable, and Phillip has a very gentle and humble demeanor. Well done! (I had never heard of Jean Cocteau, but will be looking him up!)

I walked past their shop near sloane sqaure many times at the weekends when it's shut. Must visit them during my day off. I love what he said about content is much more profound than happiness. I have the same thought!

I love him!! Truly, most designers will have a large stash of items. We tend to naturally hoard because we know we will use it someday or for a client. I once read, " it is not hoarding if your stuff is cool ". 😊 We do tend to be maximalist.

This is simply magnificent! I adore the high ceilings, it gives such a feeling of space, and in London! You have beautiful pieces of art everywhere. The floors are amazing, glad you stained them dark. It feels as if you are in Paris 🎉 BRAVO!!! You are absolutely delightful. What charming company you must be! 😊

Absolutely gorgeous apartment! Lovely colors (white, black, tan, gold/silver as connecting themes) and mood lighting. Though there is a lot of 'stuff', it's very well-organised, and nothing is overdone. Most importantly, the host looks marvellous in this space, so it certainly is a reflection of his personality and style. Overall, he created an ideal mix of contemporary class, European elegance, with fine art, artifacts, and asian touches. What appealed to me the most was the woodwork, throughout: truly amazing.❤

@@kismit100 Beige, cream, white, tan, grey and brown. Yes, those are all neutral colours. You may benefit from googling what neutral colours are. There is a tiny bit of a dusky blue placed in each room so perhaps that’s why you have dismissed the decor of comprising of predominantly neutral colours.

Fabulous. Beautifully edited and appointed home. Especially love the silver collection, the lacquered dining room, wonderful little lamps, and fresh flowers. Don’t hesitate to use your uncle’s China, it’s wonderful.

This is lovely, quite inspiring. We're planning and decorating a cottage/house, and his comment about pendents made me happy. I love love wall sconces and tablelamps, so now I feel good about doing that instead.

I had a stroke of luck with finding a couple of paintings at an Autojumble would you believe by an associate of Cocteau , Eduoard Dermit ( for nothing they were being thrown in a skip from a stall that had no idea 😊) on the back each had , in pencil , an address attributed to Jean C, one in Paris and Santa Sospir which was a villa of his I believe , anyway beautiful place !

Philip is one gorgeous man with a beautiful home….I LOVE ALL OF HIS STUFF…IT IS FABULOUS just like him….great advise…if you love it…buy it….he is fantastic….I want leapord carpeting and no one sells it….why WHY WHY can’t I find carpet that I love too? Hugs carolyn from Columbus Georgia
