Living in the country shouldn't be a dream. It should be compulsory to keep areas of gardens in each town for those who like to plant!To have little farms not far from them! Or ...to build town in the boonniss without invading them ! 220128R

Thanks so much for this information. Would you please teach us the difference between Suburb, county, district and rural areas. Thanks in advance
@ychia762 жыл бұрын
I live in the suburb so basically 30 miles from a major city center. County is a term used in more of a government jurisdiction. I live in Washington state and my suburb is located in Snohomish county. Districts are division within a county. Within Snohomish county there are 5 districts in regards to voting for councils. The term would be district councils. And if you want to talk about schools then the term is school districts. There are 9 school districts in Snohomish county. Rural areas are farmlands, small towns, not developed like a city and usually population is lower than the city.

@@fredylopez2477 People also may mix up Washington state vs Washington D.C the Capitol. Washington state is part of the Pacific Northwest region. Where did you live in the states? In Washington state we also have unincorporated area which I find interesting. And I live in an unincorporated area which is controlled by the county even though we are a part of the suburban city by zip code, sort of caught in between being smaller in population but not large enough to have our own councils. As the population increases, I hope we can petition again to get incorporated. I actually learned a lot of this channel. Have a great day 😊😊😊

Great lesson. I have a question. How can you say that someone doesn't live in the capital , but lives in a town in some part of a state. Could also you say that this person lives in the country or in the country side? If you can't say that, how could you say it in English? Thank you!
