Thanks for your question! "I can't hear a thing" and "I can't hear anything" are both correct and mean the same thing! However, "I can't hear any thing" isn’t correct-"anything" should be one word here. Both "a thing" and "anything" emphasize that you can’t hear any sounds at all. Great question!
