You need to understand weeds.. Weeds are the messenger of nature of your farm.. if you can understand it deep enough, you'll stop tillage and implement better practices.. A land can never be naked.. always keep that in mind..

Hi......looks like you are being advised in a wrong way......i do have a land in Karnataka..... wherein i do use Tiller instead of tractor (cultivator and Rotovator)......instead start sowing SENABU AND DAINCHI SEEDS (just throw the seeds on the soil after adequate watering and tilling ...... in 45 days once the plants are grown and on the first sighting of flowers you use brush cutter and leave it ( the same will work as Mulching and Green Manure for your land)......by doing this you are saving a lot of money on buying manure and usage of Rotovator and cultivator will be minimised......
