What a fun party for this little boy! Love the green toy airplane! Sonia…. I think you have graduated to be a senior!!! You pack fabulous boxes in only your second year! And not only great boxes but also taking your time to help others learn about OCC! Filming, packing filler, sharing stories, supporting other KZbinrs and always leaving kind comments… you are definitely doing it all and doing a fantastic job! So thank you my friend! This little boy will be flying high with all of his toys in this box! Love the small planes too from Spark/Walmart. And so nice to hear your happy recipient stories! Such a blessing . It DOES make you want to pack more! TFS friend! 😘

You crack me up……me finally a SENIOR! 😂😂😂😂. I’ll be expecting OCC’s Medicare card in the mail soon….hurrah! I hope to not be sounding like “too much preaching”.??? 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️. For dear life, I couldn’t remember “Spark” from Walmart. I sure hope Walmart continues carrying Spark. I’ve been noticing less inventory of Sparks at my stores here. I loved that shoebox! 🐓The little girl in the blue dress is so adorable! She looks so happy with a shoebox! Love how you decorated the shoebox with the flags. My favorite is the beanie baby from Val! So cute. Wow, love all the toys you included. The eco airplane, mini airplanes from Walmart, and whole set of Walgreens vehicles. Very cool that you included all the vehicles from the board book! Oooh, the balloons are so fun. Thanks for clarifying what items are allowed because it's different for each country. Another favorite is the outfit including the flip flops! I also bought the same shirt. Fantastic shoebox, Sonia!! Perfect for a 2-4 boy! ✈

How wonderful that you have heard back from 5 box recipients and recognize others from photos. That is so exciting! I love this box, Sonia! The airplane is an incredible WOW! I can just picture the young boy, now, pretend flying his plane and making airplane noises 😍. I think your idea to use the long skinny cello bags for toothbrushes is my all-time favorite inspiration. Good morning, Sonia. So glad to see you and hope the arm is soon completely healed. I just want to say thank you for starting my morning with a burst of humor. When you said that the plane had come in for a crash landing, I laughed "right out loud" as the saying goes. It is wonderful that you are getting replies from your boxes, and in my opinion, you have progressed way beyond being a newbie to packing because your boxes are full and always delightful. I love this box for a toddler boy. He will be delighted with all those airplanes and vehicles. So much fun. The essentials are there too. Another great job!

I love everything about this transportation box. I especially like the airplane, T-shirt, and book. You’ve put so much thought into this shoebox, Sonia. The box just screams boy all through it. On a side note, I hope your wrist gets better soon. I can only imagine how aggravating it must be doing daily activities. Be a compliant patient and you’ll be back to normal soon. ☺️

Wow, so many toys for a little guy. He will be filled with joy. I love the Green Toys. I've only found the tugboats at my stores. I think Spark was the brand name that was escaping you. 😂 And also, your pictures were so sweet to see. Such sweet faces can only inspire us to pack more. ❤️

OMG…..yes, Sparks was the brand I couldn’t remember. Thanks! So easy when others can finish my thoughts….LOL! I came across a Green Toys tugboat at Homegoods recently. Hesitated getting it and when I went the next day it had sailed away. They are, indeed, great toys. And yes, getting the pictures filled my heart with joy. I think it also depends where the boxes ends up. I grew up in the Philippines so yes people there would most likely find a way to thank the giver even for the smallest of gift. ❤ there is even a video here in KZbin that the young girl who received an OCC shoebox 15 years ago end up marrying the young boy that send her the shoebox so cute.😂 and now they have like a KZbin channel with their kids. thank you for blessing these young children ❤❤

Wonderful box, Sonia! I love that play scene for this little guy’s cars and toys. It looks pretty big so you might have to cut it in 4 pieces so it will fit in the laminating sheets. Then you can tape the 4 pieces together after you laminate them and trim them so it will fold up nicely and fit in the box. So happy to see your happiness in receiving the responses. And, I just loved seeing little Weanie in this fun fun fun box!

This is so awesome! SOOO many toys!!! I find it somewhat funny that the cars came with 3 emegency cars and then a dump truck: "Hello, 911? I want to report a massive pile of grabage not collected from the street!" XDD lol I love this ball, it look so cool! :) :)

I'm so sorry to hear about your wrist, I pray you heal swiftly. I can't tell you how happy I am that you received those beautiful pictures I'm sure in warmed your heart to the core. OMGosh I love the bigger plane as well as the little one's they are sooo cute. I'll have to look for those at TJ-Maxx I also get some good deals there as well. If you can remember what the smaller planes are called could you please let me know, I'd love to purchase some? They are perfect for little toddler hands. Thank you in advance. I love that t-shirt. I love the way you package your toothbrush and comb. I could never survive in that heat I don't like to be hot. Hi, Bonnie! Hope you are well too! The little planes are from Sparks/Walmart. I just went online to order some more. Showing here plastic tube of five for $4.88. Good price I think. Plus, nice quality too. Amazon now has Green Toys on sale with some less than $7. I like getting them for less than $5 but, I think with toy prices skyrocketing the less than $5 may not be realistic….🥺. Good luck with the little airplanes. ❤️❤️❤️

Yayyyy welcome back Sonia! I’m praying your wrist heals quickly! Love green toys so I’m always on the lookout for a sale. Oh I got the construction play set at CVS with a similar play mat and also had the idea to laminate it but wasn’t sure how to go about it. Cut it? Don’t cut it? I hope Val shares her thoughts! I love the outfit and all if the toys you included. I use ikea boxes too and you get WAY more in yours. Oh and for the naysayers with little fillers, I’m so sick of hearing them. Such an awful thing to say that something is cheap or a box is cheap when that may be all a person can afford to give. We should be encouraging people to pack more boxes not critiquing what they send. Ok end rant and thanks for sharing this, it’s just full of love!

Hi Sonia, thanks for reminding us that different sending countries have different rules. From the UK we can send things like crosses but we cannot send religious literature. I think it is so that Samaritans Purse can send their own literature which will definitely be true to scripture. ❤️

I'm glad your wrist is healing! it is deffinilty hard to do anything with one hand! I have never broken a bone but I have gotten stung by a hornet on the finger and it was brutal lol. That is so great that who have heard back from so many! I have not heard back from any from last year but I still hope that all my boxes made it with their letter and picture. Isn't is wonderful how more of these countries are able to communicate with us. They are all so adorable. The box has so many wonderful items, I used a few of the little chunky airplanes in my airplane box last year. Wow so many toys. I really hope countries that Canada and USA send boxes to keep allowing us to send religious items, that is the back bone of this mission, to share the love and hope of Jesus. The ones in UK must go to places that forbid it, which is really sad. For the play mat you probably need to cut it into 4 to fit in the laminater. We have humidity ughh I hate it! lol out west has dry heat too.

Hi…..still having wrist trouble. Have an appointment next Tuesday. I am an IPad user. Typing with only the index finger takes forever. At this rate, my boxes might not make it till 2025 😂😂😂😂😂😂. “Gotten stung by a hornet on the finger” ouch…….can’t imagine the pain! I think Covid may have made a number on the delivery of shoe boxes. Have heard of people receiving thank you’s to boxes packed in 2019. Don’t give up hope in getting responses. The chunky little Spark airplanes are wonderful. Tried ordering some more from Walmart and they are out of stock. I sure hope they bring them back. They are perfect for shoeboxes. Yes, cut the playmate into 4 parts and it worked out beautifully.
