These pictures are gorgeous! It would be amazing if one day you make a book of these pics and interesting info about the mushrooms. You’re so knowledgeable!

Thank you! I am trying to work on a photobook type thing but it's taking me a long time in between all the videos and photos I'm always working on

Ryan, the Orange Pore are just stunning…..I love the fact you are not just taking exquisite images but you’re also teaching noobs like me to fungi, all about the subject, where it’s from, where and what it grows on etc. that is invaluable to many of us just starting out….thank you……and once again, keep doing what you’re doing, don’t change a thing 🤙

Those Holly Parachutes are incredible. The 2nd bunch you found made brilliant images. Nice 👍🏻

Hi Ryan, wow those Holly Parachute were tiny! I'd really struggle to find any of those with my 'old man' eyes 😅 Stunning macro work once again

thank you mate! I don't think I'd ever have spotted them if I hadn't crouched down and starting picking up leaves

I'm really loving these videos, we have quite a few temperate rainforests where I live in northern Ireland. I adore mushrooms and I'm always searching for them on my walks in the forests.

thank you! Yes a lot of Ireland and Northern Ireland is temperate rainforest and I am quite jealous of that lol

Such a nice and relaxing video, I love the shots you got of the Holly Parachutes! I've wanted to see those for ages but no luck so far

Thank you Alexis! I've spent so many hours crawling under holly and failed to find it, then I find it here when I didn't even realise I was near a holly tree 😅

Lovely video. I have followed you on Instagram for quite a long time, but never watched your videos. I use an Em1x with 60mm for macro, do you know if that camera can start and stop stacks using the screen as you use in this video. Have subscribed and will watch more of your videos. Cheers, Merv.

Really enjoy your work, any chance of you doing a video of how you edit your stacks.? Cheers Mark

I noticed you don't use flash/diffuser in your mushroom photos, is it not needed at all?

Lovely videos, Redal! When showing your focus stacks - how do you decide the count of photos in a stack? Is it just by heart, or do you calculate in some way? It may depend on your "stepping" in the stack, right? Best wishes Jan, Denmark
@redal-uk2 ай бұрын
thank you! I actually just have the camera set to the max number (999), and manually stop it when it's taken enough. I also purposely take more at the start and end of the stack than I need to so I can then choose where to start and end the stack later and not miss out on anything.
@foto-dk2 ай бұрын
Thank You! But... How can you set The closest focus point CLOSER than start of the mushroom /object? Do you do that manually?
@redal-uk2 ай бұрын
@@foto-dk yes I use manual focus to set the starting point a little closer than it needs to be
