It's written by Kissa Sasaki, apparently. They went all out on the rhymes for this song, I wasn't skilled enough to keep them all intact in the translation unfortunately but I did my best

@@pentadunk I actually didn't realize a 'cracker' could also mean a party popper, which is funny because when I was trying to translate it I translated the trumpet sounding as 'pa-rapa-pa' in reference to some other songs using 'pa-rapa-papa' for trumpets sounding. Ironically enough if you were to mix 'party popper' in with that you'd get a pretty similar 'papapapa' rhyme going.
