Thank you so much for your comment, i'm really glad you can enjoy my translations! ;_; i try to put a lot of effort into matching the cadence and energy of the song in order to make the translation read well, since I got frustrated with reading other people's translations that didn't match up at all. Music and lyrics are art too, so I've always believed that when you translate it you should treat the translation like art too, and make it match the original's energy. So I'm glad it comes across! @@pentadunk I’m totally with you on that! Even a lot of official translations of Japanese songs tend to read kinda… strangely, to the point where it doesn’t make much sense in English (even when they’re grammatical and are an appropriate translation). But yours are well written and can capture some of the spirit that tends to get lost in a lot of translations. It can be quite difficult to do, so good on you and thank you for the work you do!

Thanks again for the quick and great translation! I was wondering what's your interpretation of Midnight Mission and how it connects to I'll Wait for the Night. The lyrics for both seem to talk about this grand event/heist/battle to come together and prepare for, and how it'll be likely fought with music. But this is just a big guess on my part haha. The references to the Overture songs were also really cool. Suisei and InoTaku never fail to amaze 🙏

I’m still not sure how they connect, but I’m definitely sensing a theme in this album lol. Like you mentioned, to do with fighting and battles in some way. I won’t be surprised if it ties into the live show they’re gonna do.

Also another interesting connection between the two songs i noticed is the theme of stacked odds in a game. It's kind of minor, but in I'll Wait for the Night there's the lyric 無理筋なペンチャン待ちでもいいの ("even if this is a hand(literally, a mahjong move, but i localized it lol) i can't win, it's alright") and in this song now there's the lyric 負け筋のポーカー ... それでもまだ笑ったまま("with this losing hand of poker / despite all the stacked odds, my smile doesnt fall"). again, minor coincidence, but its interesting there's this theme of the odds being stacked against you in a game but still going for the win anyway. i'm excited to see if it keeps popping up in the other songs lyrics too

When I looked into it myself, I assume it's supposed to be a reference to the fictional spy Nikita from the movie La Femme Nikita (which later had 2 TV series adaptations).
