The secrets behind why Filipinos, even the uneducated ones, speak English is our love of Music. Music is also the secret why Filipinos are nice and friendly people. Singing for us lift our souls to some form of bliss. The lyrics of the English songs makes us know the words, and singing them with passion makes us understand the meaning and the intent of the song. And the secret of our generosity and compassion. the willingness to extend help and offer our food to strangers is our strong faith in God's divine providence. God will always provide.

I think other factor to consider why most Filipinos speak English is that English language is taught in schools from kindergarten to college even in the remotest areas in the Philippines. So, even dropouts from elementary to high school or college, Filipinos aren't new already about the language, some may be learned it from other sort of informal education like listening to music, watching films and other influential materials that people will see it or read it in their daily lives. In other words, l think Filipinos are just born good listeners and observants.

Capul, Northern Samar is where you can find the only dialect in the entire Philippines that is only spoken by the people of Capul (Capuleños) which is Inabaknon. Though nearly extinct, it is said to have been the island's own dialect since the 13th century where the first settlers from Java arrived. I'm from Lavezares, Northern Samar and I don't know how to understand and speak Inabaknon... just sharing😂

@@Anim3fanz You're too judgmental.. Finn is a very friendly fellow and has done so much goodness for the Filipinos with his YT money.. Helped build a school for the victimized Filipino girls, helps in cleaning up our beaches, promotes the 'no plastic' advocacy, He's a humble gentleman who's not there to promote himself.. He's there for the love of the locals as he showcases the beauty of the Philippines through his lenses.. He is no more than a mere, youngster who just happened to fall in love with our islands; something that a lot of foreigners are afraid to do because our country seems to give off negative vibes, and you're one of them...
