Different people in different parts of the world speak English with different accents. You have to listen carefully to understand. If you are having a conversation with someone and you do not understand then ask them to repeat slowly. When you keep listening to the same accent you will be able to follow after a few days even if they speak at normal pace. Keep practicing.
