That is an amazing mall. I’ve never seen design brands with their own standalone building. So convenient the mall has transport to and from mall too. Interesting, when we were in Beijing, China, a sales lady did the same, lighting the leather with flame. I bought the purse, but when I got home I decided to toss it in the garbage. In my Chinese culture we have dried preserved salted fish. It’s pungent. The inside of the purse smelled like that.

I totally agree! This is one of the best luxury outlet malls we've ever been, especially for Italian brands. It was fun to browse the city leather market. We were skeptical about the inside of the leather jackets and bags, the liners seemed not as well made. We didn't smell the insides but good to keep in mind if shopping for those items. Thanks for sharing your story, I'm sorry you had to toss your contaminated item. What an amusing story but also sad that you had to say goodbye to it. 😊
