We had 2 teachers like this, one even spoke real loud and in a hyper way but in that way, we atleast didn't fall asleep and it was easier to remember. But damn it was scary because if you didn't read up then you would be in trouble. And you would just wonder who would be picked up to answer and I was so shy that even if I knew the answer I would stutter through it.

How do you decide who you call on ?
@Joy-wz2vo2 жыл бұрын
@@kittyearsheadbands8810 Depends on the professor. I had one that wouldn't even look at the students - he'd glance at the seating chart and pick a random name. If you couldn't answer, you were marked absent for the class. Another professor would pick one student to summarize cases for the entire class period. You would have to answer the questions about the basic issues and rules of law of the case, and then the prof would open it up to the rest of the class for discussion and hypotheticals. But if you weren't ready that day, you were guaranteed to have to brief the entire next class. Upside to that was that, once you did that, you were pretty much off the hook for the rest of the semester. Never had a prof that was this vicious though. lol

Most Law Schools dont wanna just test your knowledge but also your reaction time, ability to argue and explain your point, ability to work under pressure and stress - so some of my teachers also kept pushing and pushing as soon as they saw cracks .Its horrible, but also very helpful. If you crack under pressure from a teacher asking you questions, you will crack in front of the court - its better to know your weaknesses asap so you can work on them - IF you are serious about law.

can someone explain what's the rape-bribery case about? I don't understand what's the point the prof intends to teach: is it the reason why the court classifies that case as bribery? but why is it wrong to say that the court acknowledging commercialization of sex?
@ryurprecious3 жыл бұрын
choi mi yeong sued kim min su for rape but after the investigation instead of rape he was indicted for bribery and found guilty, now the question is why did it come out like that? the point is it wasn't rape, but bribery. if it was rape choi mi yeong is a victim, but if kim min su is indicted for bribery then choi mi yeong isn't a victim anymore but also a suspect, since sex is considered a bribe, that means choi mi yeong wasn't raped because she gave it willingly to kim min su in the first place. Now the question is why did the court consider sex as a bribe? Did the court think that sex can be turned into a monetary value? Since when it comes to bribe money is invloved. If the court decided that sex is considered as a monetary value then that means sex should be commercialized, now that's wrong, it's like saying prostitution should be legal or we can also pay through sexual intercourse if we dont have money. That's where Kang Sol B answers, the court considered sex as a bribe not because it can be turned to monetary value but "The court considered the benefit of bribery not only as monetary or property gain but anything tangible and intangible that can satisfy the demand and desire of a human. IT CONSIDERED SEXUAL BENEFIT THROUGH INTERCOURSE AS AN INTANGIBLE BENEFIT." Prof. Yang wants his students to see why the decision came out like that, "what's the issue?"; "why did the court consider sex as bribery".
