Sick video man! This is the motorcycle I've been waiting for, and it's unbeatable for the price here in China. What are the regulations like for motorcycles in Guangdong? In Beijing, it's pretty much a lost cause.

If you mean like engine size regulations there are none. If you have a license you're free to ride any motorcycle your heart desires. As far as motorcycle bans. Shenzhen outright bans motorcycles. While other cities might have a partial ban. Meaning they only allow bikes registered in that city to be ridden there. Guangzhou, Zhongshan, Zhuhai, Dongguan, Foshan, and Shantou come to mind. Are partial bans enforced? Sometimes, but rarely. The only place I know that strictly enforces a ban is in Shenzhen. I use Gaode Maps (AMAP) for my navigation and it has a built in feature for motorcycles to help you avoid restricted areas. Motorcycles are not technically banned from the expressways but most municipalities will try to stop motorcycles from entering even though there's no provincial law against it. With that being said I've seen motorcycles on the extressways mutiple times. Just curious how they actually got there either buy running the toll gates or maybe a toll worker let them on. No idea.

Wonderful bike, still waiting to have it in Italy but maybe QJ will never import this 1, cause they already have the srt550sx. Howev… how about the height Seat? Is it like the previous 1? 86cm for the X and 83/84 for the road version?

Yes, that's correct. The seat height is the same as the previous version. These motorcycles are selling like crazy here so in my opinion it would be smart to sell it overseas where there is an obvious interest in these motorcycles. Their plan is to phase out the 502/502X and replace it with the 552/552X.

Great bike but what puts me off is the huge weight of 250kgs - Voge 525dsx is only 205kgs fully fuelled and CF Moto 450MT 193kgs all up. If you drop this bike on your own you’ll be stuck, unless you’re superman!

The dry weight of a TRK 502X is 213KG. The new 552X has gotten rid of the steel swing arm for an aluminium swing arm which drops the weight 9KG to 204KG.

​​​@@RichardS-qh8miYes, you are correct. The 552 will replace the 502. The only 502/502X available on China right now is an anniversary edition which is in very limited supply. (Billy and I made a video about it) I think it was a way to sell off the last stock of that generation. If you go to any Benelli dealer here it's all 552/552X you can't even find a 502/502X unless it's second hand. I'm curious as to when Benelli will start rolling out the new generation bikes in other countries.

You might have to talk to your local Benelli dealer and ask them if they know when the new 552X is coming. I'm in China and this bike has been available here since it's launch earlier this year.
