Use If for conditional situation. for example : If i study English regularly, you will get good score in Ielts. Ues Whether for alternative or more options to choose. example : Please, tell me whether or not you are attending to the meet up.

The difference between "if" and "whether" lies in their specific usage. While "if" is an adverbial conjunction expressing a condition, "whether", on the other hand, functions as a quasi-correlative conjunction in that it is used with "or" to express a choice between two things.
