That's the way that everyone should speak it. However, the truth is that some natives have a very different accent or even pronounce the words differently. This girl speaks with a standard accent, maybe that's why you could clearly understand her.

Yeah, even I with my english skills that are between a2/b1 can understand her very good. In my opinion English is so hard because of pronunciation, if your native language is very different languages from English like Russian or Japanese/Chinese or others, there are plenty of them, and if you have some pronunciation issues even in your native language, especially with letter "R" like in my case, it becomes hell when you try to talk in English, cuz you have to think first how to say it in English correctly, and in other way you have to think if your pronunciation is good enough for other person to understand you:) for me it works just like i described.

to everyone who does not speak english, i’m a native english speaker and some tips i would give is yes there are different dialects to english, especially when people who speak english push their words together and mumble, so it’s also important to learn english slang, because in this generation it’s going to be a good idea to know that slang in english so you can better understand english and also different accents in english, so good luck! english is one of the most difficult languages to learn so i really wish you all great luck!
@DiogoSilva-cx5rm
@DiogoSilva-cx5rm 3 жыл бұрын
Nah it's one of the easiest ones. If you really want a hard language learn Russian, Arabic, or Mandarin. English is a child's play compared to those

@@DiogoSilva-cx5rm no english is one of the hardest languages to learn bc, certain sounds and letters don’t make the same sounds if u switch the word to the ending with another word so it is extremely confusing, i speak english but i learnt spanish and spoke it for years and kinda forgot how to speak english and relearning it was so hard
@DiogoSilva-cx5rm
@DiogoSilva-cx5rm 3 жыл бұрын
@@whatintarnation1230 No, it's not. Look at the verbs conjugations, look at he grammar. Everything is extremely easy. I'm Portuguese and for me English has always been really, really easy. The hardest part would be the phonetics, because it's actually difficult. Notwithstanding that, by listening and repeating you can perfectly acquire the sounds. The words don't sound as they are written? True, because English is not a phonetic language, so your option is to hear every word and repeat it. Also that happens in Russian tho. The word is differently pronounced according to where the strong syllable is. O is pronounced A when it's not the strong one, E is pronounced as И, Я is also pronounced as И, etc. Also Russian has 6 cases, in which every word changes their ending according to the grammatical situation. Accusative, Prepositive, Dative, etc. English is one of the easiest languages in the world, and thus it's a globalized language, which makes the finding of resources for it extremely quick and easy. If you want a really hard language learn Armenian, or Finnish, or Polish, Russian, Mandarin, Cantonese, Thai, Arabic, Levantine, Japanese, Korean, Euskera, Slovak, Czech, Xóõ! Xóõ! is the most difficult language, probably And the other ones in the list.. each one of them is a thousand times harder than English

@whatintarnation1230 3 жыл бұрын
@@DiogoSilva-cx5rm portugués is on the easy side to learn english from, it’s easier to learn english if u speak french spanish portugués etc, it’s gonna be 3x more difficult if u speak hebrew, arabic etc, it’s gonna be more difficult learning english from those languages, reason being well let’s look at the words “rough” “bough” “through” all spelt with “ough” at the end but pronounced completely differently
@DiogoSilva-cx5rm
@DiogoSilva-cx5rm 3 жыл бұрын
@@whatintarnation1230 So what? Try to say Превысокомногорассмотрительствующий in Russian. In those words you just need to hear how they sound and that's all. Besides, Portuguese is not so easy to learn (at least the European one), specially for the sounds, such as à or Õ, that has similar phonemes only in Polish. Those are a lot more difficult than any sound of English. And the easy part of English are not Latin languages, but Germanic, such as Swedish, Norwegian, Icelandic, Danish, Dutch, German, etc. For a Chinese person English may be difficult, but for any European people (except some countries where English is considered difficult and people do not use to have a high proficiency level, such as Ukraine or Turkey) English is really, really easy. That's why English, despite having 1500 million speakers, have only 375 million native speakers. The 1125 million left are foreigner people who learnt English as a second language. If it was so difficult as you say, that wouldn't be possible. Again, if you want to know what a difficult language is, check Xóõ! out here in KZbin

Phrasal verbs are very common in English, especially in more informal contexts. They are made up of a verb and a particle or, sometimes, two particles. The particle often changes the meaning of the verb. I called Jen to see how she was. (call = to telephone) They've called off the meeting. (call off = to cancel) In terms of word order, there are two main types of phrasal verb: separable and inseparable.
