The Cooking Disaster Hello, I’m Jeremy, and most of my friends think I’m very picky about food. But they also say I have a big appetite and that I cook really well. I love to cook, and sometimes, I like to invite my friends to my house to taste new dishes that I’m learning to prepare. Usually, everything goes perfectly, and I impress them with my cooking skills. I also try to add my personal touch to every recipe. However, the last time, things didn’t go as planned. It all started when I decided to cook a new recipe for my friends. It was a pasta dish with chicken, mushrooms, and a creamy garlic sauce. I was very excited to show them my cooking skills. But as I started preparing the meal, I realized I had forgotten some of the key ingredients. I didn’t have enough garlic, and I also ran out of mushrooms. I had no choice but to stop everything and go to the store to buy the missing ingredients. This time, I made sure to write a shopping list so I wouldn’t forget anything again. But when I got to the supermarket, it was very crowded. There were so many people, and the line to pay was almost endless. I waited for what felt like forever. When I finally got the ingredients and left the store, I was already late. When I got home, I tried to cook everything as fast as I could to make up for the lost time. But now, it was getting late, and my friends were about to arrive. I still hadn’t finished cooking, the table wasn’t set, and I hadn’t even changed into clean clothes to welcome them. I was feeling very stressed because I wanted everything to be perfect. But then, the worst thing happened. While I was setting the table, I forgot that I had left a frying pan on the stove to fry some chicken. When I went back to the kitchen, I saw that the pan was burning! Smoke filled the kitchen, and I could barely breathe. I quickly turned off the stove and tried to open all the windows to let the smoke out. I was panicking because the food wasn’t ready, and my house smelled like smoke. At that moment, the doorbell rang. My friends had arrived. I opened the door with a nervous smile. They could probably smell the burnt food from outside! I explained what had happened, and instead of being upset, they all laughed. They said, "Jeremy, it’s okay! We don’t mind. We can help you finish cooking." So, my friends and I worked together to finish the meal. We cleaned up the mess, and I added some extra garlic and parsley to make the sauce taste better. Even though the chicken was a little burnt, everyone said it tasted great. In the end, we had a fun evening. We laughed about my cooking disaster and enjoyed the meal together. My friends told me that the food was still delicious, even though things didn’t go as planned. Next time, I’ll be more careful with my cooking, and I’ll make sure I have all the ingredients before I start. But I know that even if something goes wrong, it’s not the end of the world.

@EnglishFastWay3 ай бұрын
Hola diego, En el canal contamos con diversas historias que te ayudaran para un nivel B1, para una velocidad Normal debes poner la historia en Velocidad x1.25 en el reproductor de KZbin.
