Thanks for reacting to this masterpiece and appreciating our african culture 💯 And you pronounce the country's name as "Lee - Saw -Too" (LeSotho)

He's an upcoming artist and he has done very well....he's really experiencing amazing traction because of the song.I think language is a barrier in this case. I'd like to belive that if you understood what he was saying you would be amazed. Its the articulation of words, the way he used the used , the way he created a masterpiece from simple Sotho words. The language art is amazing my guy. Anyway ✌

He sounds very talented. A shame we can't fully appreciate the song because of the language barrier.
He is our Local Artist,the song is ACTUALLY a hit and its a total pioneer in hip-hop: mixture of culture and WESTERN hip-hop blended to make a smoothy. The lyrics are very good. Ur 1st choice of lesotho Artist WAS good and we appreciate. Big ups,,,,,

There are tones of great tracks, but I urge you to do research first. Especially on the sound in vogue, you may just end in circles with the traditional sound, that's Famo. These songs below actually sum up all the sounds you can expect from modern sotho music. 1. Ntate stunna - Lotto (sotho drill) 2. Kommanda Obbs - Honna mona (sotho hop) 3. Juvy Oa Lepimpara - Intro (house) 4. Morana Leraba - Johannesburg (electro) 5. Kommanda Obbs - Lokollang Poho (the famo you were talking about, but modern) 6. Dj Mordheez - Nthoa tsa mafifi (sotho amapiano) 7. Morena Leraba - impepho (just for the visuals) 8. Zakwe - Sebentin (Lesotho Remix) (to appreciate different languages there) 9. Dj Switch - Now Or Never ft Nirex, L Tore, Kislev, Jiji F, T-Mech (Street Remix Lesotho) --its just in english

Leso2 is how you pronounce the country
@juvyls3 жыл бұрын
Hahah the video does feel tourist-y. Lesotho is pronounced Le-soh-to.. Stunna is very young, and all like young people mostly self taught/promoted thanks to the magic of internet and free softwares. He's made music with his friends in makeshift/bedroom studios, shot & edited most of his music videos, thanks to the advent of affordable Dslrs that put out decent pictures. He resonates mostly with younger people, 14-20ish. As a rap artist, he's proficient with English but prefers vernacular, sort of a current trend.
