Ну, да. Когда в настоящем гордиться нечем, своих достижений ноль, а великодержавная шишечка болит, - тут или Великими Достижениями Предков гордиться, или совсем какой-то чушью, но претендующей на вселенскость.

Hello 👋, I have many useful Phrasal verbs for your 👇. Wake up to stop sleeping, or to make someone stop sleeping. She usually wakes up early. I’ll wake you up when it’s time to leave. Talk over to discuss a problem with someone before deciding what to do. Let's Talk it over. We had talked this over before. Break into to enter a building or car by using force, in order to steal something. Someone broke into my car and stole the radio. Knock off to stop working and go somewhere else. Do you want to knock off early today? Take apart separate into smaller parts; disassemble. He took his car apart to figure out what's wrong with it Brighten up To become happier and feel more cheerful. He brightened up after she began talking with him. Talk down Talk to someone as if you think they are not as clever or important as you are. He always talks down to his employees. Turn in Report or take someone to the police. Somebody turned him in to the local police. My wallet was turned in to the police two days later. Tear up To rip into pieces. I tore up all the photos of my old boyfriend. She tore up his letter and threw it away. Live up to To be as good as expected. The movie lived up to all our expectations. Zip up To close something that has a zipper. I tried to zip up the dress. He was zipping up a small brown suitcase. Bring forward To make something happen earlier than originally planned. Let's bring the wedding forward to my so it'll be a spring wedding. Get in with to become friendly with someone. I tried to get in with them as I thought It would help me at work. Blow away To kill somebody with gunfire or an explosive device. The robber threatened to blow me away if I didn't give him the money. Take off To have a period of time away from work. I wanted to take the week off, but my boss had other ideas. Take a shower to wash yourself under running water. I always take a shower after my workout. She decided to take a shower before going to bed.
