In Bulgaria, we have a proverb: "By clothes, they meet you, and by the mind, they have been sending you." Generally, the host is looking at you and kind of measure you by your presentability and neatness. At the end of the visiting coffee or tea meeting, lunch or dinner, regardless of the first impression, one has been sending you literally in your intellect - how wise, polite and gentle you are. This is an absolute gem of a jamming session between two IELTS greats! Keith and Datio, you both were truly amazing! Such a beautiful conversational experience...So much to learn from it! It was so smooth and seamless, it was dynamic and happening! The biggest take away for all test takers from this amazing collab is that you just need to be natural and spontaneous while you are speaking...and yes, all that strategizing and attention to detail would definitely work wonders! This test is not just a bland and mechanical Q&A session between an examiner and a test taker...it's more of a confluence of ideas and a synergy of skills and talents. That was just my five cents.
