Good evening sir, Today’s motivational quote is “Be stronger than your excuses.” Editorial is related to ongoing economic crisis across Sri Lanka. In my opinion: - Sri Lanka which is the Island nation has been facing deep economic crisis for long time due to the persistent growth of inflation. At present, protests are being carried out by thousands of people across the country. The protesters believe that such crises have come due to the negligence of the current regime of the country. If it had taken all actions earlier, such situations could have been avoided. The protesters are calling for resignation of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe respectively. However, both have given willingness to step down to their posts in upcoming days. There is little option for Ranil Wickremesinghe to remain in the Prime Minister’s post as neither has he majority nor the support of any political party. Currently, many videos are going to viral on the social media platforms where it has been seen that protesters have entered into the President’s house and they are damaging the equipment which are available in the house. There can be no denying that the current regime is fully responsible for such crises but damaging government properties is also not solution to the problem, it will merely weaken the country’s growth. In the past, there have been many countries that have experienced such type of crises but they recovered as they had given countries’ command to good leaders. Had Sri Lanka approached the countries that had tackled such situations earlier, it could have been avoided. Now, Sri Lanka must focus on electing good leaders and avoiding any polls as at present the country is not in position to conduct fresh polls. This editorial is related to the uprising in shri Lanka . According to me , Shri Lanka is facing the economic crisis now and protest is going on and public anger is paving the way for important changes in shri Lanka . A lot of people occupied president Gotabaya Rajapaksa ' s residency and the Prime minister's residency is set fire . As we have seen that there are uploaded many photos and videos of social media and the status of government is worst day by day . In that photos which is viraled on social media , some people are watching television , taking rest , counting money which is found in president residency . The president and The Prime minister both have expressed eagerness to resign . Government should elect new president and country can't afford the polls of this time who can guide the country towards economic recovery . It's impossible, without a proper leadership, a country can work .
Quizzes of the day 1. Contingent- depend on 2. Bailout- help, financial support 3. Boisterous - unruly, unrestraint 4. Overrun - invade, assail, occupy, fill. Thank you sir.
