Good evening sir, Today’s motivational quote is “Success is a state of mind. If you want success start thinking of yourself as a success.” Editorial is related to implementation of new excise policy across Delhi. In my opinion:- Every state has its own excise policy and it works to monitor liquor trade in state. Similar policy was introduced by the ruling Government of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the year 2021 to curb the illegal trade of liquor across Delhi but now, on the basis of allegation related to corruption, a probe is being conducted by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) against the AAP leaders including Mr. Sisodia who is currently looking after the charge of Deputy Chief Minister of the territory to find out the actual fact. However, it is believed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is taking such actions knowingly as it has lost two states in the previous polls and now it is scaring to lose the polls in Gujarat which is scheduled for next year. If the policy which was made by the Government of Delhi is beneficial for the people of territory, the AAP government must come forward and explain/aware the actual fact among the people so that everybody could know the pros and cons of the policy. Political parties must work for the development of country and states instead of fighting each other for their benefits. Win and lose is the two aspects of polls so political parties should admit whatever the results come. Apart from this, reputed Central investigation agencies such as the CBI, ED etc which are known as fair investigation must work independently ignoring the pressure of political parties. Other than this, the Judiciary which is known for justice must interfere when the ruling government misuses the Investigating agencies.
